New Zoo in PoznanThe first zoological garden in Poznan was established in 1871. It is still open to visitors. The address is Zwierzyniecka 19, str. It is called an "Old Zoo" (Stare ZOO). The "New Zoo" is a spacious area, located at the East end of the city near Lake Malta. Animals have good conditions to live here - in beauituful and quiet surroundings. Visitors can choose among two routes of sightseeing. One is 2.1 km long, and the second one reach 5.3 km touching picturesque scenery of ponds, small hills, trees, stones.
