I am an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Computing Science at Poznan University of Technology. Professional fields of interest include:

• evolutionary algorithms, new approaches to optimization, DNA computing
• simulation (artificial life, evolution, learning, complex adaptive systems, multi-agent systems, virtual worlds)
• artificial intelligence, neural networks and machine learning; knowledge discovery/data mining
• analysis and recognition of patterns, images; signal analysis and speech recognition
• games and playing algorithms/strategies; game theory
• biology, medicine, and biomedical applications of computer sciences
• human-computer interaction
• everything which is too hard to be solved :-)
