About me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Computing Science of the Poznan University of Technology at the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications. In the years 2007-2011, I attended a class with an IT profile at the Zespół Szkół Ekonomiczno-Odzieżowych im. Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego in Gniezno. In 2011 I obtained the professional title of IT technician. Next (in 2011), I started studying at full-time first-cycle studies at the Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Zawodowa im. Hipolita Cegielskiego (Computer Science, specialization in Information Systems). In January 2015, I received the title of engineer – topic of the engineering diploma thesis: The use of embedded systems for control and visualization of the water treatment process. The engineering diploma thesis met with recognition by the authorities of the Institute. In March 2015, I started studying full-time second-cycle studies at Poznan University of Technology (Computer Science field of study), becoming a student of the newly created specialization Mobile and Embedded Applications for the Internet of Things. In June 2016 I defended with honors my master’s thesis on: Control system of biodegradation contaminants processes in the aquatic environment, obtaining a title of master of engineering. During my master’s studies, I simultaneously pursued a study programme postgraduate Przygotowanie edukacyjne do nauczania przedmiotów ogólnych i techniczno-zawodowych at the Postgraduate Pedagogical Study of the Poznań University of Technology. During my studies, I was working on the issue of Assessing the awareness of young people in the field network security. In 2016 I started my Ph.D. studies in automation, electronic, electrical engineering and space technologies under the supervision of Prof. Andrzej Urbaniak. The thesis title is Decision support algorithms in the field of repair actions on the example of the Water Distribution System. I defended my doctoral thesis in July 2023, and received the title of doctor of engineering and technical sciences in September 2023.

Currently, I give lectures on embedded systems, sensors and wireless sensor networks, microcontrollers in practice, and designing mobile and web applications. My research interests include: optimal control, analysis and synthesis of control algorithms, modeling and control of water and sewage facilities, design and implementation of embedded systems, artificial intelligence algorithms in environmental engineering, optimization, and expert systems.

My hobbys: music, electronics, travelling, cinematography and photograpy.
