Absences and influence on the final grade
- Two unjustified absences do not influence the final grade. Any absence above that lowers the maximal grade by one (but you can’t lower your grade by more than two).
- Example 1: if somebody is absent twice the grade is not lowered since the absences are within the limit.
- Example 2: if somebody is absent three times the grade is lowered by one.
- Example 3: if somebody does not come to any lesson at all (8 absences) the grade can be at most 3.0 (you can’t lower the grade by more than 2)
- Only unjustified absences are counted towards the above rules.
- Maximal grade cannot be lowered to less than 3.0.
- Students doing special projects are exempted from these rules.
