Assistant Professor at the Institute of Computing Science, Poznan University of Technology and in Laboratory of Bioinformatics, Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences.

Received PhD in Computer Science and my research topics include application of wide range of operational research methodologies in molecular biology. Especially, I’m interested in development and creation of new computational methods and algorithms, computational analysis, simulation and theoretical modelling that can be applied in bioinformatics area. I’m deeply involved in research cooperation focused on scientific areas as Structural Biology, Combinatorial Optimization, Data Visualization, Decision Support Systems and Parallel Computing.

In 2006 received Executive MBA at the University of Minnesota, Carlsson School of Management. Since then focused also on cooperation between business and science areas regarding innovation and commercialization.

Leader of a group focused on all aspects of computational analysis of biomolecules (protein, RNA) and visualization of molecular structure.

Love travelling (particularly mountains), sailing, and visiting new places.
