Workshops in IShOP Project

BusinessClouds 2017

The 4th international workshop on new models, algorithms and simulation tools for cloud computing, cloud brokering, Internet shopping, and e-commerce trading

Participants from University of Luxembourg:
- Pascal Bouvry,
- Gregoire Danoy,
- Sebastien Varrette,
- Emmanuel Kieffer,
- Shyam Wagle,

Participants from Poznan University of Technology:
- Jacek Blazewicz,
- Jedrzej Musial,
- Jakub Marszalkowski.

Special guests:
- Pawel Kuraszkiewicz (Ph.D., Honorary Consul of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Poznan),
- El-ghazali Talbi (Full Professor, University of Lille),
- Bernabé Dorronsoro (Ph.D., University of Cadiz).

The workshop was meant to summarise the IShOP project, present the latest results, and establish future directions for collaborative research. We host around 25 people including several collaboration institutions (Poland, Thailand, Belgium, Spain, France). In terms of industry we invited Microsoft, Luxcloud, Luxtrust. Moreover, Honorary Consul of Luxembourg in Poznan (Dr. Pawel Kuraszkiewicz) accepted our invitation – his talk enriched the workshop program.
