Pascal Bouvry (Full Professor, University of Luxembourg)  Pascal Bouvry is a full professor of the Faculty of Sciences, Technology and Communication. He is authorized to direct research and PhD students. Pascal Bouvry's team is composed of 25 researchers working on Parallel computing and Optimization applied to Cloud Computing (scheduling, energy-efficiency, security), Ad-Hoc Networks (Vanets simulation and service optimization), and Biology (gene sequencing, regulatory networks, protein folding). Pascal Bouvry is also an active faculty member of the Interdisciplinary Center for Security, Reliability and Trust, aka SnT.
Prof. Dr. Pascal Bouvry was the quality director of a major software development company for CLES, R&D director and general manager for SDC company, as well as PI for a number of research projects, i.e. Ministry of Economy - Supernode2 - 2012/2014, FNR/CNRS-Green@Cloud - 2012/2015, UL-Evoperf - 2011/2013, FNR-CORE/GreenIT - 2010/2012, Eureka-celtic Wisafecar - 2009/2011, UL-EVOSEC - 2008/2010, FNR-SECOM/SIM - 2005/2007, FNR-SECOM/TeseGrad - 2005/2007, UL-Evo-Business - 2004/2006, ATTLA - 2000/2001 (MetaSolv part).Presentation title: Challenges and Areas of Extension for Cloud Computing acek Blazewicz (Full Professor, Poznan University of Technology)  Jacek Blazewicz is a professor of computer science at the Poznan University of Technology. Presently he is a deputy director of the Institute of Computing Science. His publication record includes over 340 papers in many outstanding journals, among others in: Discrete Mathematics, Discrete Applied Mathematics, Journal of Scheduling, Journal of Heuristics, Journal of Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Applications in Biosciences, Computational Biology and Chemistry, Operations Research, INFORMS Journal on Computing, IEEE Trans. on Computers, IEEE Trans. on Communications, IEEE/ACM Trans. on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, Parallel Computing, Acta Informatica, Performance Evaluation, Intl. Transactions of Operations Research, European Journal of Operational Research, Information Processing Letters, Operations Research Letters. He is also the author and co-author of over ten monographs. His science citation index exceeds 3000 and h_index=26 (on the ISI list Citation Search).
