ROADEF Challenge logoThe subject of the challenge was "Technicians and Interventions Scheduling for Telecommunications". The goal was to find the shortest possible schedule of interventions and the best assignment of technicians to teams for some telecommunication tasks. It was sponsored by France Telecome.

 

Together with Wojciech Jaskowski we prepared the solution of the problem that used a hill climbing algorithm. Our solution was scored on fourth place in junior category and we were invited to Grenoble to present our solution on FRANCORO/ROADEF 2007 conference.
