- Students can work in pairs.
- There are 8 assignments to complete.
- For each assignment, a group receives a mark 2.0 (worst), 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 (best).
- Assignments must be completed in up to two weeks…
- … but they also must be completed before the examination session starts.
- The upper cap for the grade when exceeding the deadline is 2.0.
- Bonus: Student may resign from up to two exercises without consequences. The rest of the exercises must be completed. I.e., a student cannot skip them assuming that (s)he will be given a mark of 2.0 — (s)he won’t.
- Bonus: if a student completes 8-N, where N = 0, 1, exercises, the 2 – N lowest mark can be excluded when computing the average mark.
- A final grade is an average of the received marks rounded to the nearest grade (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0). In the case of a tie (rounding down/up), the decision will be based on the student’s activity during labs (the activity may also boost the examination result).
- If the average of the received marks < 3.0, then the student is not given a passing grade.
