WORKSHOP ON SCHEDULING FOR PARALLEL COMPUTING
Poznan, Poland, September 11-14, 2005

Scheduling for Parallel Computing (SPC) Workshop shall be held in conjunction
with the Sixth International Conference on Parallel Processing and
Applied Mathematics PPAM 2005, Poznan, Poland, September 11-14, 2005.

The SPC workshop is intended to be a forum for exchanging ideas 
in the field of scheduling parallel and distributed applications.
Suggested topics for papers and posters include (but are not limited to): 

* deterministic scheduling
* divisible load theory
* grid, cluster, heterogeneous platforms scheduling
* communication scheduling 
* load balancing
* new scheduling models
* scheduling workload measuring, and modeling
* scheduling for large scale distributed data processing

PAPER SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION
The rules of PPAM conference apply (http://ppam.pcz.pl/call.htm). In particular:
- Papers will be refereed and accepted on the basis of their scientific
merit and relevance to the Workshop topics.
- Papers presented at the Workshop will be included into the
proceedings and published after the conference by Springer-Verlag in the
LNCS series. 
- Authors should submit papers (draft version, Postscript or PDF file)
to Maciej Drozdowski, (email: Maciej.Drozdowski@cs.put.poznan.pl )
before April 30, 2005. Regular papers are not to exceed 8 pages (LNCS
style). 
- Final camera-ready versions of accepted papers will be required by
October 31, 2005.
