Project Description

The organisation has introduced its own internal structure for management of requirements documents from different projects. The structure is used mostly by version management tool (Power Source) and mail exchange program (Microsoft Exchange). Right now the structure has to be created separately for both tools and the file system. The copies of the same structure can differ due to lack of automatic synchronisation. Documents are often stored improperly in the structure by the workers. Different workers use various formats for the documents of the same type. The project team has to propose and create the tool or environment, which will:
  • Automatically create all necessary structures for a new software project
  • Keep all the copies of documents structure synchronised
  • Store incoming documents in appropriate place of the structure
  • Force the same format for the documents of the same type
