Project Description

The aim of this project is to be first in the world with a big database of multiple-choice test questions, that are open to the public. There is a great demand for multiple-choice questions since client is in possesion of a multiple-choice test-kind examing system using it.

The questions will be open to everyone. Cooperation with teachers all over the world will allow to maintain and develop multiple-choice questions' database as a public service to schools in Europe.

The system will be used basically by teachers, but also by any students or any other persons wanting to exchange tests. It should allow:

  • Submiting a test file (containing questions, answers and grading rules) with very simple syntax.
  • Checking if the syntax of the file is correct.
  • Checking if the questions do not already exist in the database, to prevent submiting the same questions twice.
  • Downloading tests accordingly to specified rules and restrictions (eg. quality of submited questions, expiration date, area etc.).
  • Rating mechanisms, allowing system's users to vote for tests, accordingly to their quality, usability etc.
  • User authorization (eg. userId, password, e-mail).

The project has a good chance of beeing funded by the European Union once a first prototype is running.
